General Info
Yes! We are licensed to teach in both Vermont and New Hampshire.
Vermont allows for Online Classroom except for an in-person Parent/Student Night at beginning of the class.
New Hampshire teen students MUST attend in person per State rules.
Adult students in both NH and VT may take online classroom if they choose a 10 hour drive package.
Yes! We live in New England and students need to learn to drive in all types of weather. If it’s a “normal” storm, we will most likely drive. The instructor may cancel drives for safety reasons if he/she feels the need.
NH classroom sessions are offered in Hanover, Sunapee, Claremont, and Mascoma High. Students in the surrounding communities are allowed to attend any of the locations.
VT students can take classroom sessions over Zoom (except 1st session). We teach students along the Interstate 91 corridor from Brattleboro to Bradford VT.

We currently offer classes in Hanover, Mascoma, Claremont, Sunapee, Lebanon, as well as an online remote zoom class for Vermont students who live along the I-91 corridor.
Payments & Fees
If a student Cancels within 48 hours or No Shows for a drive time, they will be charged a $75 fee. The reasoning behind this is so the instructor is not sitting for an hour to wait for the next student. No Show hours still need to be made up at some point.
No. We ask that you pay a $200 deposit at the time of registration. Further payments can be broken up as long as paid in full by the end of class.
Credit Cards are accepted on the website, however a processing fee is charged by the software company. Most people just use a credit card for the $200 deposit, then bring cash or check to the Parent/Student Night.
A Non-Refundable Deposit of $200 is required to hold your spot. A full refund, minus the $200 Non-Refundable Deposit, up to the start of the second classroom session. If available, a student can move to a later class without penalty.
No. We require the deposit up front. The remaining balance can be broken up as long as the remaining balance is paid for by the end of class. No certificate will be issued until the balance is paid in full.
Registration & Forms
All registration is done online at this website. The Parent/Student can electronically sign the contract. It takes about 10 minutes to complete. No registrations will be done over the phone or by mail. Vermont students must enter their permit information.
Teenage Programs
NH Students must be 15 years and 9 months at the start of class. The State is very strict on this age requirement. VT Students should be 15 and 6 months at the start of class.
Vermont students can obtain their permit at the age of 15. It is recommended that they be at least 15 and 6 months before taking driver education but not required.
We recommend downloading the free Road Ready app on the students phone. They can simply hit start/stop and the app will add the time. NH students can print the log from the app to attach to the DMV form.
Both NH and VT teen drivers are required to have 40 hours of at home drive hours. Of those hours, 10 need to be at night.
Teen students are allowed to miss up to 4 hours of excused classroom. The student must get instructor permission to miss class and must do make up work. If a student misses more than 4 hours, they must make up that time in a future class.
We understand that sports are important to Students however the State is very strict regarding attendance. Students are only allowed to miss 4 hours of preapproved class hours. Students must make up the work for those hours missed or attend another class at another location. Typically if the student is flexible, we can make it work.
